Parents will need their National Insurance Number to complete the online form. The form only asks a couple of questions, once completed, it will automatically check DWP and HMRC records to see if you are eligible and will provide a real time response on eligibility. Parents can ask for confirmation to be sent to their personal email. The system automatically informs Liverpool City Council if a parent is eligible and they then grant the entitlement to the parents and the school is informed.

Thank you for your co-operation.

School Meals

Children may stay for a school dinner, provided by our school cook in our dining room.  Dinner Money MUST be PAID IN ADVANCE on MONDAY MORNINGS to your child’s class teacher. It should be brought in an envelope with your child’s name and the amount enclosed written on it or made via bank transfer (Ask for details at school office).

Meals cannot be provided without payment. Therefore it is the responsibility of parents to make alternative arrangements either by taking their child home for lunch or providing a packed lunch for their child.

If your child is absent then a credit for the absence will be made the following week.

It may be that your child is entitled to free school meals. A form is available from the school’s office, to enable you to make an application to the LA.

Please make prompt application in readiness for the beginning of the academic year. Remember that the Council has thousands of applications to process.

Please be advised that the matter will be dealt by school with the utmost discretion and respect for your privacy and that of your child.

Without the proper authorization from the LA school cannot provide a Free School Meal. Until school does receive this authorisation parents will be required to make alternative arrangements by paying for their child’s school meal, taking their child home for lunch or providing a packed lunch for their child.

Packed Lunches

Children may bring a packed lunch if you prefer. The school would ask parents to support its work in promoting “a healthy lifestyle” by giving their child “a healthy packed lunch.”

If children wish to change from school meals to packed lunch, we require you to give at least half a term notice. This is due to advance orders for food being made from our suppliers by our cook.

Playtime Snacks

In order to promote Healthy Eating crisps, biscuits, chocolate and sweets are NOT permitted for break time. The children are encouraged to bring a healthy option such as fruit, raisins or cheese. Fizzy drinks are also NOT permitted
